Oxford Street Luxury Apartments Get 5* Build

We recently completed a large-scale 4-year project at a series of luxury apartments above Europe’s busiest shopping area, Oxford Street, London. In this exclusive residential development, residents demand exceptional quality, style and design so Kinorigo’s range of finishes were a natural choice for ESA Architects.

Hard wearing Basalt finishes

The corridors and stairways across 4 floors were finished with Smoky Grey Basalt – a fine-grained volcanic rock widely specified for its hard wearing and long lasting qualities for both interior and exterior use. Smoky Grey Basalt was used in a number of applications throughout the development including honed, flamed, chiselled bush hammered and polished, with each finish offering a different colour and tone to perfectly fulfil the design.

Portuguese limestone provides natural beauty

Moleanos which is a Portuguese limestone was used on the front of the building to give the facade a contemporary look which is contrasted beautifully with the bronze vertical features. Also, note the rugged limestone inside the ‘Lightboxes’ these give more texture to the lights shining up them. Moleanos is a stunning natural limestone, pale beige in colour with small flecks of shells and fossils adding interest.  Its medium hardness means that it’s frequently used for cladding, flooring, interior decor, furniture and other stoneworks.

Completed on time and on budget

From the terraces, concierge area, flooring on corridors and stairways and the facade of the building, this complex and large-scale project was completed on time and on budget. The client is delighted with the results and they were impressed with our innovative approach and professionalism at every step of the project. Further collaborative projects of a similar nature are planned for the future so watch this space!
