Royalty House

London - 04.11.13

These modern, commercial offices are housed in one of London’s prestigious A-Grade buildings.

Working with the architect and contractor the renovation was adorned with the right materials. The main luxurious natural stone used was an English limestone called Portland Whitbed.

The original specification called for Portland stone an English Limestone however, the architect yearned for something similar yet more hard wearing for the office interior.

The client was presented with Capri another similar Limestone a perfect alternative tile option for the job. the chosed Limestone tile was the Portland – a great limestone that has been used for many years on a myriad of projects. This clean and classy natural stone can be used inside and out – here you can see the stone was used in a number of bespoke shapes to create disabled access and an impressive staircase.

Not only was the best quality Portland Whitbed provided, this tile has an excellent value for money too. Expert masons also engaged their skilled precision to create the radial stair design along with the external steps and ramps. Another natural slip stone used alongside the limestone was Piccante Camel, an attractive Basalt stone to create a complementary feature on the main wall.

The overarching result was a crisp, clean and contemporary corporate space. The project ran smoothly, with everyone involved very happy with the service.
